Your Tuckahoe Community Advisory Committee (CAC) members met to discuss the Reorganization Study for Southampton UFSD and Tuckahoe CSD on February 26, 2013. District Reorganization Feasibility Study Report
The Southampton Board of Education and Tuckahoe Board of Trustees collaboratively commissioned a study to determine if reorganization of the two school districts could provide enhanced opportunities for all pupils while increasing efficiencies, and lowering overalls costs.


This detailed analysis has now been released by the State Education Department. The findings are based on information provided by the districts for which certain assumptions were made  to project the programmatic and financial implications of a prospective merger.  In accordance with proper procedure, the respective school boards and communities will carefully review and discuss the documents and assess the merits of the proposed merger.
