Newsday recently reported that a Long Island school district was
experiencing higher than acceptable levels of Mercury vapor emanating
from a rubberized floor covering in their gymnasium. Out of an abundance
of caution, the Tuckahoe Common School District contracted the services
of JD Broderick to conduct an air quality test of our gymnasium. We are
happy to share that the report shows no detectable measures of mercury
present.
Please note that the safety of our students and staff will always be at the forefront our decision making in Tuckahoe.
Respectfully,
Len Skuggevik
