On Friday, May 17, 2019 students in both kindergarten classes
participated in a Teddy Bear Clinic. The Stony Brook Children's
Hospital came to the classroom to speak to the students about how to
stay safe. They discussed wearing a helmet, seat-belt use, where to sit
in a car, and overall safety! Following the discussion, the students
became the care givers to stuffed animals they brought from home. The
determined where they were hurt, how to care for their teddy bears, and
how to be safe next time. All enjoyed!
