Good Morning!

I hope you and your family have enjoyed a wonderful summer. I am very excited to share some music updates for this school year. Notably, Chorus is available to middle school students alongside Band. Chorus will perform during the 4th-8th grade nights of the the winter and spring concerts. 

Our band rosters are well established, but if your child is interested in chorus we can quickly get them signed up if you reply to this post!

How does 10th period middle school music work this year?

6 Grade Band: A Days (except Fridays)

7/8 Grade Band: B Days (except Fridays)

6/7/8 Chorus: Friday! (every Friday)

I know that our 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade students can feel the pressure of the middle school workload. To be mindful of this I am offering students participating in music quarterly WIN passes as follows to take care of important work:

Band students will receive one WIN pass quarterly, expiring at the end of each quarter.
Chorus students will receive one WIN pass quarterly, expiring at the end of each quarter.
Band and Chorus students will receive two WIN passes quarterly, expiring at the end of each quarter.
Students may use a WIN pass to attend WIN that day to complete work. WIN passes can not be used in the three weeks before a concert or one week before Flag Day/Field of Flags.
